Tugun Progress Association would like to thank Community Bank Tugun for their ongoing support of the Tom Atkin Hall through their 2023 Community Investment Program.
The funds have enabled us to reach another milestone in our rejuvenation project which now includes IT/AV infrastructure and equipment, broadband capability as well as the installation of CCTV cameras which adds a layer of security for the local community.
This investment complements the launch of our brand new ‘Persons with Disability’ bathroom facility, an upgraded kitchen, and a freshly painted hall for all our existing tenants to enjoy.
These upgrades allow us to attract a wider range of patrons to the Tom Atkin Hall too, from corporate entities, health and wellness workshops to music gigs, film nights and theatre performances. All of which are designed to support and entertain the diverse range of people and interests in our local community.
The evolution of the Tom Atkin Hall continues and it’s through strong community partnerships that we have with organisations such as Community Bank Tugun that allows us to continue our work at the Tom Atkin Hall.
We have some fabulous shows coming up at the Tom Atkin Hall, Saturday 6th July 2024 we have Paco Lara Duende Flamenco Show, and on Saturday 13th July 2024 we have Save the Waves Film Festival, show and ticket info can be found https://www.tomatkinhall.com.au/
