The Tom Atkin Hall was alive with energy and talent as our fabulous local heroes united for an unforgettable fundraising event. Organised by the Tugun Progress Association, this special night was dedicated to supporting our beloved community hall, which serves as a hub for gatherings and celebrations.
We are immensely grateful to the incredible performers who took the stage: the Fasolati Singers brought their harmonious melodies to life, while the Retro Dance Divas filled the room with infectious energy and nostalgia. Sweet Clarity mesmerized the audience with their soulful performances, and Hammer & Thongs entertained everyone with their unique flair. Puzzle Dust Entertainment added a delightful touch of whimsy, ensuring the evening was packed with laughter and joy.
None of this would have been possible without our wonderful audience. Their enthusiasm and support created an electric atmosphere that made the night truly special. Together, we celebrated not only the talent on display but also the strong sense of community that defines Tugun.
This event was more than just a fundraiser; it was a heartfelt reminder of the importance of coming together to support our local spaces. As we reflect on the success of the night, we look forward to more opportunities to unite, celebrate, and cherish our community.
Fundraising efforts are still being calculated but we can expect over $4,000 to have been raised as a result of this event. These funds will go towards much needed roof works for the beautiful Tom Atkin Hall.
